From this list of amazing life changing devices, each device in its own way makes your life better, by helping you perform tasks quicker and more efficiently. By using these devices they allow you to do a task faster which gives you the time to do more tasks, so each device actually improves your life and allows you to accomplish more with your day to day activities, which in turn gives you more free time to enjoy electronic devices such as the ones that provide entertainment.

It’s also believed is that electronic devices increase your knowledge, with a computer and the internet you can pretty much learn anything you want and about any subject you want. Current estimates on internet access is that approximately 25% of the world’s population has access, the number seems low, but for North America alone the access rate is 73%, so through computers and the world wide web, access to knowledge has become very easy. All this easy access leads to a free flow of information and ideas, which in turn leads to new developments in technology and the creation of new and better electronic devices all to make your life even better and easier which is back to the reason why we have and use so many different electronic devices in our lives.

Having this driving urge to make our lives easier and also more entertaining, creates job opportunities, these jobs are centered around making all the electronic components, capacitors, microprocessors, resistors etc all that go into the electronic devices, right through to the end product and don’t forget all the spin off job opportunities that come from producing these products, for example packaging; the makers of the plastics, the boxes or polystyrene and foam that’s used to protect the devices before you get them into your home so they can start their purpose of making your life better. Then there are other spin offs from manufacturing electronic devices like marketing and advertising a lot of which is put on or used in the electronic devices we’ve already bought, and they tell us how our lives can be even better with newer electronic devices, all these things come from these two urges.

So it is very obvious that all the hundreds of billions of dollars spent each year on the development and production and marketing of these wonderful electronics is all done to make your life easier, better and more entertaining, just imagine how wrong the world would be without them!

But why?  Just why is it better; that is the question.  That’s why, a few years ago a small group of us “charcoal people” got together and did our own “unofficial study” to see just why charcoal’s better than gas.  Our motivation was simple — the enjoyment of cooking and eating “barbeque”.  IT TASTES SO GOOD!

Hence, after countless hours of barbequing; using both charcoal and gas; barbequing pounds and pounds of meats, all different varieties (ribs, pork, chicken, and beef and the assorted game species).  We discovered that it basically comes down to TEMPERATURE.  That’s right TEMPERATURE.  Now, that may surprise many folks at first, but those who barbeque and — I mean really barbeque — understand this point very well.  When grilling, charcoal allows you to cook at a higher and consistent rate of temperature than a gas grill ever will.  And that is what makes the different!

But, hold on, we are not finished!  That is just the first factor on the side of charcoal as better.  Secondly, and more importantly, charcoal allows you to cook with what we Charcoal People call “favor”.  We charcoal people explain this “flavor” by pointing at a slab of ribs and showing the distinctive smoke ring inside. . . . stop. . . (I am getting hungry!).  That’s where the flavor is!  We haven’t even applied any sauce!  We haven’t used the seasonings whatsoever!.  The flavor essentially starts in the smoke.  Oh my goodness!  That is the god’s honest truth and that is it in a nutshell as the why charcoals is better.  We could go on and on but I think is point is made here.

Nonetheless, for some die-hard grill people, they say that you can get a smoke ring from a gas grill; and they prove this by incorporating some wood clips in the barbequing process.  Now that is just plain SILLY!  That is like using artificial lemon flavor in your lemonade!  WHO WANTS THAT!  NO ONE!  That is the truth!  You want real lemons in your lemonade; I am sure you would agree.  The same is true when barbequing.  GIVE ME CHARCOAL!  Thanks.
